19 years ago today, some 3,000 people were murdered when the World Trade Center collapsed. Many more were injured.
Then, we worked hard and for the most part, we prevailed. We need to be particularly grateful today to our first responders and to our military.
Now, we honor our men and women in uniform and our first responders who fight COVID-19 and use science to find a vaccine, by standing together in their honor. We must move forward together, with a commitment today to stand by our men and women in uniform, and our responders — fighting the virus, using science to find a vaccine. When we face challenges together, we always do best.
