Where I come from, we would call KS Rep. Roger Marshall a chicken-shit. He had no excuses for his votes against Kansans, ones that would directly puncture Kansas’ economy, specifically targeted farmers, and have specifically even targeted its one Native American school. Marshall offered a tiny- only 20 chairs- for his so-called town hall meeting but had to face an overflow crowd; he tried to defend his votes, which “took a sledgehammer to rural communities.”
Marshall didn’t care. He didn’t listen. He just stood there like a robot and parroted Trump/Musk talking points. The spillover crowd spoke loud and clear: Marshall’s lock-step votes to support the many Trump-directed cuts that Elon Musk has made were unacceptable. He escaped the room early before the meeting because he couldn’t take it anymore.
